About Me
My name is Kathryn Landreneau, and I am a violin teacher in Alexandria, Louisiana. I have had several private violin students over the last 13 years (since I was 13 years old), and am hoping to settle down now and build a studio. As well as teaching privately, I have assisted with a Suzuki group and with the Pineville High School orchestra. I have played in several orchestras and quartets throughout high school and college, and am a past member of the Rapides Symphony.
My focus is teaching classical violin through the Suzuki method, but I can also teach Celtic, Acadian, and country fiddle. I will teach anyone from age 5 to adult. I am also a member of a chamber group which will play string trios or string quartets for weddings and other events in the Alexandria, Louisiana area.
